New Year’s Day is the first day of the year in the Gregorian calendar. New Year has also become an occasion for spirited celebration and the making of personal resolutions. New Year happens during the first day of the year, every January 1. It is also our tradition to celebrate this. Some says that it is very important to celebrate this in order for us to have good blessings for the coming year.
For me, New Year symbolizes
new things. And these new things include our hope, love and others. Also, it
includes new habits in our lives. Despite all the problems of the year 2013, we
should forget all those bad things and try to do good things in this coming
year. New Year, New Me? Is it really true? Maybe, yes but not all the times.
It’s true in some instances like I should change all my bad habits I do. And
also, I should be good on my doings and be more careful in doing my jobs. I
will do my responsibilities as a human being in order for me to become a good
citizen in our locality.
I knew that all of us have
our New Year resolutions. Even I have my
own resolutions. These resolutions are useless for me if we only say these
without even doing it. But it is good if we say this then does it afterwards.
We were not perfect but I knew that in the eyes of God, we are all perfect. And
I still believe in the saying, do your best and God will do the rest.
I will do my best in order
to do all my New Year resolutions. I believe that God will always guide and
help me every time I do my own decisions. I also knew that my family especially
my parents are always there for me. I am hoping that this year 2014 will be the
best year in my life.
