"Gutom at
Malnutrisyon: Sama sama nating Wakasan". This is the theme of today's
nutrition month.
Nutrition month happens every year
during the month of July and July is considered as the Nutrition Month. We are
celebrating nutrition month not here in the Philippines only but
internationally. We need to celebrate nutrition month in order for us to
understand the different importance of having a healthy body. Nutrition is
related to the word healthy. We need to take healthy foods in order to have a
healthy body and to have a brighter future. Taking healthy foods regularly like
vegetables and fruits can help us to have a strong body.
Malnutrition
is one of the most common problems of our country now. Malnutrition is a faulty
nutrition. Meaning we are lack of nutrition and our body is not anymore
healthy. We are not physically fit. The reason maybe we are suffering from this
condition because we are not eating healthy foods. According to the food
pyramid, we must eat Go, Grow, and Glow foods because these are examples of
healthy foods.
Due to the problem
that I had mentioned a while back, we can help them even in our simple ways. As
a citizen and student, we should donate some of our allowance or even healthy
foods that can help our fellow youth who are in need. And to those who are
suffering from malnutrition, we should conduct a seminar for them to understand
the importance of having the proper eating of foods. Those are my simple ways
in order to help my fellow youth.
